I have had this watch for several years now. I like it better than the 910xt because it uses GPS for the altitude measurement versus barometric pressure. I don't train without the 310xt. The "ANT" usb fob that plugs into the back of your computer is AWESOME. I walk near my computer and it syncs up automatically. No messing around. I have taken this watch on 12 hours Mountaineering ventures and it has kept a charge no problem. I also use this watch for cycling, which is great because it uses GPS to determine speed, distance, etc. I don't need a bike computer. I just strap the watch to my aerobars and take if off for the run or swim while I train. Great watch, can't say enough about it. SOMETIMES it is slow to pick up GPS signal. But thats 1 in 10.
