We are a team that consists of serious athletes and "athletes" that want to have serious fun. We have every nationality, religion, race, age, physical capability, and so on. The team hosts a few triathlon races, a few trail races, a few swim races, and a few bike races. When the team isn't hosting an event, we are trying to all participate at someone else's event, whether it's racing or volunteering. But Team Mossman isn't just about racing, it's about enjoying exercising, the outdoors and each other. You never have to be alone again during a swim, run, or bike session. Whether it's 1 mile or 112 miles, broadcast a message to the team and someone (most likely a lot) WILL respond and want to participate.

Florida Tri Clubs

Gulf Winds Triathletes - Tallahassee, FL The Gulf Winds Triathlon Club was officially formed in 1998. Its roots, though, trace back to several other triathlon clubs that have come and gone in Tallahassee since the late 1980s. In 1999, the club became part of the Gulf Winds Track Club. Both clubs are governed by a separate Board of Directors, elected by each club's members. Whether by design or just good fortune, both Boards share the same Treasurer. Gulf Winds Track Club operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and, as part of the Track Club, the Tri Club does, too. Members of the Tri Club are also members of the Gulf Winds Track Club. As of January 20, 2013 the Tri Club had 320 members. Our members' ages range from 10 to 76.

Like many triathlon clubs, some of us were swimmers first, some cyclists, some runners. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, encouraging environment where everyone can learn something from everyone else. We have elite-level members (including a few who are fast enough to turn pro if they wanted), fast age-groupers, middle-of-the-pack finishers, tail-end champions, and what-the-heck-did-I-sign-up-for first-timers.
